Secretary

Lynn Cartwright lives on a small ‘ small holding’ in the Staffordshire Moorlands and has been keeping bees since the 1980’s. She currently manages around 15 colonies on a hillside apiary approximately 900’ above sea level bringing it’s own challenges with longer winters and strong westerly winds.
Over the years she has tried many different hives including top bar, Warre and WBC’s but now has mostly conventional nationals.
Lynn raises her own queens and confesses to producing dark mongrels who seem well adapted to the local climate.
Previously working in careers and education business link activities and with STEM she is currently the Programme Secretary for the North Staffordshire BKA.
