Trisha lives in the Welsh Marches by Montgomery with her family.
She runs Camlad Apiaries with partner Paul, with around forty colonies and apiaries both sides of the border, producing honey for local shops and food fairs under the Shropshire Sustainable Business scheme. Improving her stocks to be thrifty, healthy and good tempered is key to breeding strategy and queen rearing using apideas is a firm part of the annual cycle.
Trisha also gives talks on beekeeping and her NGO projects. She is learning the ropes of project management with Bees Abroad, a UK NGO whose remit is poverty alleviation through beekeeping, and is currently working on projects based in Ghana.
Trisha resigned from the BIBBA committee in September 2017 to devote more time to her work with Bees Abroad
