You will be able to attend all BIBBA events including conferences, lectures, field days
and workshops.
You will learn about the docile behaviour of native bees Apis mellifera mellifera and
how to assess it, as well as learn how to get the best from them by management techniques.
Morphometric techniques are taught and tuition given in using computer methods to speed this
process up.
Breeding techniques and selection can be learned in theoretical and practical workshops.
Local groups are encouraged to work together on the selection and breeding of bees suitable
for their own areas.
Beekeepers are encouraged to propagate and conserve strains of Native bees in
order that they may be distributed to help others establish or reinforce Native bee stocks.

How to Join BIBBA
The Annual Subscription is only £20.00 (Sterling) per year, Due on 1st January.
Members joining after 1st October receive membership till the end of the following year.
